Proverbs 17:17

"A friend loves at all times..." Proverbs 17:17.

I met two of my wonderful friends for breakfast this morning at the Carolina Cafe. It just so happened, however, that I neglected to call the one friend to confirm our meeting and tell her where we were going to get together. Also, the other friend and I had to leave after a short time for errands and appointments. As I was leaving, I looked back to see my friend sitting at the table, alone, eating her bagle. I found myself taking comfort in Proverbs 17:17. Thank God, "a friend loves at all times...". I realize I may not always agree with my friends, or even like them, but if I am going to call myself a friend, then I must love at all times. Thank you Amy and Tricia for loving me at all times, especially when I forget to call, show up late, and have to leave early!

I am thankful for...

1. God sending wonderful friends into my life.
2. my best friend in the whole wide world...TODD.
3. the dream that my boys will be close friends someday.
4. being able to not comminucate with some friends for a really long time, yet having no problem catching up with them.
5. memories of friends from my past.
6. Michael's giggle when I mention the names of his friends during prayers before bed.
7. sharing clothes with friends.
8. random phone calls from friends.
9. random emails from friends.
10. the ever evolving relationship that I have with my mom, and that we can be more than mother and daughter, but life-long friends as well. I love you mom!
